A beautiful genre scene was executed in the 1900s by an outstanding Czech painter Jan Skramlik (1860-1936). He studied at the Academy in Prague (1976-1878) and later in Munich under the tutelage of W. Lindenschmit. He then went to Paris, where he worked with the famous Czech painter V. Brozik, he made study trips to Germany, England and Italy. Skramlik was recognized for his genre and historical paintings, frequently exhibited in Prague.
