Beautiful patronymic plate in polychrome earthenware from Nevers. In the center a decoration representing the Virgin Mary carrying the infant Jesus on one of her arms and a scepter on the other. Our two characters are haloed. The infant Jesus holding in his hands the terrestrial globe surmounted by a cross in the style of "Salvador Mundi". The rim of our plate is scalloped, the wing is decorated with a blue circular net and is adorned with vines. Finally at the bottom, the inscription "Marie Brisson 1805 - Year 13" On the back of the plate we can distinguish the traces of parrets used during cooking. The year 13 of the republican calendar corresponds to the years 1804-1805 of the Gregorian calendar, the year 13 begins on September 23, 1804 and ends on September 22, 1805. Note a small chip on the border at the bottom right.
