Joseph Paul ALIZARD (1867-1948)is a French painter, engraver and draftsman.
Son of the painter Antoine-Julien Alizard, he studied in the studio of the great painter Jean Paul Laurens, at the Beaux-arts in Paris.
He was present at the Salon of French artists from 1897 to 1942, where he obtained a medal in 1910.
He participated in other Salons in Belgium, the United States and Japan.
Eve's daughter is a painting he painted in 1928. Our drawing is a study for this painting.
