Huge Abelam lintel having adorned the ceremonial hut in the village of Apangai for about 10 years. The ceremonial huts keep all their significance in this region where traditions are still very deep. The community agrees to sell the components of the old ceremonial huts which, due to the hot and humid climate, must be replaced regularly. The purchase of this lintel contributed to the financing of the new village hut inaugurated in August 2019.Dense wood and natural pigments.
