"Claris Lévy Kaza Editions Grand Nude Féminin Craquelé Art Deco 1930"
Elegant female nude made in earthenware for Kaza editions, one of the prestigious Parisian publishers of the interwar period. Remarkable quality of manufacture for this ceramic with entirely crackled polychrome glaze. This nude, typical of the Art Deco style and stylized representations of the modern woman of that time, is large in size. Height: 37 cm Base: 55 cm x 23 cm Signed Claris Lévy on the terrace and Edition Kaza France below. Work reproduced on page 102 illustration 99 in the book "Les Craquelés Art Déco" by Alain René Hardy and Bruno Giardi. Very good state.
