Giorgio Melzi was born in Milan on March 11, 1944. He started painting very young and in 1967 he already had his first personal exhibition.
A prestigious scenographer, he recently created a scenography for the permanent exhibition of the Palace of Fine Arts in Milan. His works have been received in national and international exhibitions. He has been repeatedly pointed out by the most renowned critics as one of the most important artists of the last generation.
