"Headdress The Young (1887) Pair Of Large Decorative Plates Entirely Hand Painted, Deer Decor"
Pair of large decorative dishes with strongly scalloped contours and decorated with a gold thread. They come from the Coiffe le Jeune workshop, located at 64 faubourg Montmailler in Limoges, for the period 1887. Our two dishes are decorated with scenes of a forest animated by deer. One shows a deer drinking in a small stream, the second shows a deer and a doe. These two dishes were entirely made by hand and bear the manufacturer's stamp on the back. They were also drilled with two holes to allow the passage of a wire for wall mounting. Shipping and protection costs 30 euros in metropolitan France, other destinations contact us.
