"18th Century Earthenware Spice Box"
Charming 18th century spice box in earthenware from Rouen or the Rouen region. This oblong box on a pedestal with scalloped contours has 3 compartments as well as a lid with its handle button. Made of glazed earthenware with a bluish-white background and decorated with polychrome floral and plant motifs. A chip of the enamel on the body indicated by an arrow on a detail photo. Small old restorations on the edges but acceptable (see photos of details), there is no crack. I consider this object in fairly good condition, given its fragile material and an almost daily use. Note: a beautiful object of the art of the table. Do not hesitate to contact me for more details. Delivery: 10 € for metropolitan France.
