Strongly curved sides inlaid with rosewood in two leaves and violet wood spandrels on the angles, underlined by a light wood fillet on a background of violet wood in counter-grain. Imposing period finely chiseled gilt bronze trim: pull handle, offcuts, keyholes, apron and clogs) Original double patina (matt and shiny) mercury gilding in very good condition.
