"The Abduction / Marcel Couderc"
A delicate synthesis between art deco and naive art, this romantic vision of a consensual abduction fits perfectly into the pictorial vocabulary of the first half of the twentieth century. Marcel COUDERC, drawing teacher in Meknés from the 1930s was a decorative artist in Morocco and Algeria. Signed and dated 1951, this large allegory fits perfectly into the work of the monumental frescoes produced by the artist.
