Fan Louis XVI period "the triumph of marriage" representing Amphitrite goddess of travels looking nostalgically at Psyche and Athena seated on either side of a medallion in which we can see a couple bringing their offering to the temple of love. We also distinguish a flaming heart overcome by a clicking in the shape of a flower between the two goddesses as well as two doves kissing and a love sounding a trumpet at the top of the composition and finally Cupid riding on a dog symbol of loyalty at the bottom law. Mute reverse. Ivory frame inlaid with star-shaped cannetis. Alençon diamond rivet. All in a gilded wood frame in the style of the eighteenth century. Width 43 cm height 24 cm
