Very successful stylization, great finesse of execution and remarkable manufacturing quality characterize this superb bust of a Mangbetu woman. It was Citroën who, on the occasion of the Citroën Center-Afrique expedition also called Croisière Noire, honored this tribe of the Congo by making the promotional poster for this epic in 1924.
