Real large old Baoulé door from Ivory Coast (surroundings of Bouaké) The lock in the shape of a sacred crocodile, it is complete with its key wear of use dimensions 154cm x 91cm The panel has undergone native restorations, proving the attention that could carry its owner. In Baoulé country we hardly see any carved doors anymore It becomes quite rare to find them old and still in good condition The crocodile carved in high relief serves as a guide for the lock Provenance collection from the South of France
