"Pencil Drawing "
Beautiful drawing in graphite, representing a street scene, can be a juggler. It takes place in front of the two medieval houses, located at 52 and 54 rue Saint Pierre in Caen. It is a beautiful illustration of daily Caen life and its distractions and customs. We can also admire the precise description of the clothes of the time as well as the architecture of these houses: Gothic for one and Renaissance for the other, which have been miraculously preserved today. Anecdotally one can read on a facade: "Royal Lottery". This magnificent drawing, with great finesse of execution, was made by an anonymous artist, follower of the great English artist Richard Parkes Bonington (1802-1828). It is presented in a pretty gilded and patinated stucco frame in Regency style. Tiny little rednesses. Frame: 33 cm x 29 cm. Drawing: 13 cm x 9 cm. Norman School XIXs.
