Elegant little secretary in blond mahogany from Cuba, opening in the upper part with a flap revealing lockers and drawers and in the lower part a door revealing a chest, 4 spindle feet, beautiful and fine ornamentation of chiseled and gilded bronzes, original white marble top , the fluted uprights garnished with bronze asparagus tips This "pretty" little secretary in between is stamped by C Mauter, for Conrad Mauter master on September 10, 1777, was the cabinetmaker of the Count of Artois, he is known for his furniture Louis XVI style of high quality of execution with sober and very pure lines with moldings often decorated with quality bronzes The secretary presented here is a good example, it is presented in good general condition, in its old varnish, old repair to the flap and one foot
