Small bust in chiseled and gilded bronze representing Voltaire. It is presented on a white marble column base against a black marble plinth. This bronze has kept its original mercury gilding with some friction and wear. It has some small chips on the black marble at the angles. Bronze after Jean Baptiste Houdon, late eighteenth century.
