Herman Diels (1903-1986) He studied at the Fine Arts in Antwerp. Strongly influenced by the writings and painting of André Lhote in the 1940s, he did not join the movement of Young Belgian Painting, preferring to remain alone in Turnhout and continue his own research. I offer for sale an oil on panel signed in the upper right corner and mounted in a white wooden frame
