Louis Teppa (1902 -1972) is a painter born in Piedmont, raised in Montmartre, of French nationality.
The former Piedmontese saddler had later transformed his shop at 12 rue Durantin in Montmartre, into a painting workshop, then a ceramist before turning it into a gallery of paintings.
He was also passionate about music. He took part in the Salon d'Art Libre in Paris in 1946. It appeared in the catalog of the Roussard gallery in 1955.
