"Christ In Ivory, End Of The 18th Century - Beginning Of The 19th Century."

Christ in finely carved ivory. Head turned to the right, eyes raised to the sky, mouth parted. Many details are particularly interesting such as the hair, face and teeth, muscles as well as the folds of the perizonium. Large cross (61.5 cm) in blackened wood resting on a stepped base. France, End of XVIIIth - beginning of XIXth Century. Note: this crucifix is in good condition. Lack of the fingers of the hands and of a foot (running on this type of object). Possible lack (?) Of the right part of the perizonium. Please take a good look at the photos.
