Oil on canvas depicting a poster reinterpreted by the artist Salomon Grunhard of the film '' last year at Marienbad '' by Alain Resnais, released in 1961. The screenplay was by Alain Robbe Grillet, part of which also reads in bottom right of the table. The artist obviously painted her muse in place of actress Delphine Seyrig.
Salomon Grunhard is a Belgian painter born in 1924 in Liège. He was a student at the Academy of Fine Arts in Brussels. He produces many caricatures and portraits of personalities
