Very nice pair of fireplace andirons representing cherubs sitting in a drape and warming themselves near fire pots. Manufacture of Napoleon III period and Louis XVI style. These andirons are in bronze with a brown patina for the figures and a golden patina for the rest of the ornamentation. All in very good condition of the house which bears traces of use (soot) which may according to taste be left as in order to retain charm and authenticity, or cleaned for a more decorative purpose.
