"Large Bronze Sculpture: American Indian Warrior By Bruno Zach (austrian 1891 - 1945)"
Large original bronze sculpture by world famous Austrian sculptor Bruno Zach (1891 - 1935). The figure created during the sculptor's lifetime. Because the Romanian sculptor DH Chiparus as well as the Austrian Bruno Zach appreciate from afar two of the great masters of decorative art in bronze and ivory Art Deco. Bruno Zach was born in Austria but worked in Berlin in the interwar years. Bruno Zach was a prolific creator of tall, athletic and independent women in bronze and ivory. He portrayed both the wholesome outdoor pursuits and the half-world dream mistresses of Berlin, Paris and Vienna between the wars. Its bronze is sometimes patinated, most often cold painted. His use of ivory is sober and always well carved. His work has been edited by several companies, including Argentor-Werke of Vienna, the Broma Company, S Altmann & Co and Bergmann. Zach's works are still highly regarded by collectors around the world to this day and reach high estimates at international auctions.
