"Louis XVI Period Cylinder Desk"
Louis XVI period cylinder desk in solid mahogany and mahogany veneer. End of the 18th century. The upper part consists of a window opening with two doors and a belt with three drawers. The cylinder discovers a sliding plate integrating in the center an adjustable desk lined with its original green leather. Three niches and three drawers form the theater. The lower part opens with four drawers. The one on the right, simulating two drawers on the front, contains a chest with a second lock. The four uprights of the upper and lower parts are embellished with grooves. The whole rests on fluted sheath feet, terminated by bronze shoes. All locks are original.
