Pierre Paulus (1881-1959): Belgian painter specializing in subjects from the industrial and mining world. Trained at the Academy of Brussels (Montald), he will obtain a travel grant for Italy. Paulus will be a member of the Nervia group (1928). Recognized artist, he will be ennobled in 1951 (baron Pierre Paulus de Châtelet).
