"Chalice In Golden Silver, France Around 1900"
This chalice is neo-Gothic style with a large indented base, molded with six lobes, with a projection. On the ribs of the foot of the chalice, a cross and three engraved silver medallions representing Christ wearing the Crown of Thorns, the Virgin Mary, Saint Joseph. Bow is decorated with square buttons embellished with foliage. The silhouette of the stem, thinned from the base to the cup, whose profile of the latter is largely flared, fully belongs to the style of the 15th century. The cup is decorated with a vine frieze. Hallmarks Minerva 950/1000, on the cut and on the foot Goldsmith's hallmarks.
