Jean Charles ELLAUME:
Received Master on November 6, 1754, he opened his workshop on rue Traversière where, for 30 years, he produced quality furniture, in particular chests of drawers and flat desks, mostly in the Louis XV style, all in rosewood veneer or violet framed by rosewood or amaranth.
The bronze ornaments are elegant and finely chiseled.
ELLAUME was considered, in his time, as an excellent cabinetmaker.
