Oil on canvas 55/38 unframed 84/67 with frame French school Signed lower right JF Couty Very interesting subject which highlights the mastery of the painter, the shrimps, the bouquets are painted in a very lively way, a certain virtuosity is necessary to obtain this rendering. The subject makes the mouth water, and makes you want either to eat or to go to the sea. The painter was born in Issoudun and died in Paris, he was a pupil of Billoux.
