"Russian Orthodox Icon Of Saint Nicholas "

The icon of Saint Nicholas the Wonderworker.
Tempera on wood.
Saint Nicholas is holding the Gospels in his right hand and is making the blessing gesture with his left hand. He is surmounted by Christ and the Mother of God.
Preserved in a beautiful silver-gilt oklad (84 standard) with engraved decoration, the reverse covered in beige silk velvet. Slight shocks.
