Large and spectacular pair of Regency style sconces with 3 sconces, in chiseled and gilded bronze. Salamanders model also says lizard arm. Wall bracket barrel decorated in the central part with a stylized shell surmounting an entourage of large acanthus leaves ending in a seed lamp base decorated with laurel leaves. The curved sconces and sinuous counter curves support large basins also called the cup, supporting lighting binets. The central light arm is embellished with a jagged basin and adorned with acanthus leaves retained at the base by a seed. A salamander clings to the foliage as it descends along the arm of the light. André Charles Boulle creates sconces decorated with this same type of reptile called lizard sconces. Model to be compared to the works of André - Charles Boulle.
