Beautiful and large sculpture in white Carrara marble representing a young tedder standing on a mound strewn with ears of wheat, she holds in her arms a sheaf of wheat, very nice direct carving work, in patfait condition, it is placed on the sun original base in sea green marble It bears on the back of the base a signature of Adrien Lichini or Luchini (French school We find a sculptor by this name who died in 1917, it seems.). Work from the end of the 19th or the beginning of the 20th century c.1900 height 69cm height of the base 7 cm, the base 17 X16cm, width of the sculpture 20cm
