Benzaiten, the only one of the Seven Gods of Happiness (Shichi-fukujin), a woman is related to the water element and is the protector of beauty, wealth and music. Fukurokuju, a sage with a supernaturally elongated forehead, is the god of longevity, wisdom and happiness. Walrus tusk, sculpted, tinted. Japan, Meiji era (1868-1912).
