These two oils on canvas forming a pendant date from the beginning of the 20th century.
Very decorative by their large size, they are each articulated in the same way with a character in the center among a fantastic nature.
In a spirit of Chinese decor on a golden yellow background, the male character is surrounded and framed by seemingly supernatural elements.
Tree trunks, winding branches in bloom or bare, bearing fruit or not, enliven the scene which ends in both cases with the flight of a bird on the right.

Good condition, old restorations, very small gaps. Ph. L'Ecluse, Paris stamp on the back of the canvas.
Without frame.
