"Walter Biddlecombe (1855-1903) The Horsewoman In Amazon"
In the tradition of the English painters of the 19th century, Walter Biddlecombe presents here an elegant portrait of a horsewoman riding an Amazon. The work is made on a wooden panel which measures 34 cm by 41 cm, it is signed, dated 1892 and dedicated "Hommage à Madame Malan" lower right. English artist living in Provence, friend of Monticelli, he exhibited at the Royal Academy and Suffolk Streert from 1883 to 1886
