Gasparo DUIFFOPRUGGAR (Kaspar TIEFFENBRUCKER) was born in Fussen (Bavaria) around 1514. Passed through Italy, he arrived in France around 1533. He settled in Lyon where he died in 1571. He would have been one of the pioneers of violin making French.
