Lot of four large engravings, first part of the 19th century around 1830-1840.
battle scenes, engravings: dedicated to the French Armies.
They are in good general condition, but not perfect: the paper is of good quality, good definition of the subjects on each plate, they are cut at the edge of the large bowl, not dusty and sound, the four are to be cleaned, freckles and humidity (see details below and on photos).
THE BATTLE OF MARENGO:
wounded officer (subject to be identified), many characters including Napoleon on the left on his horse. After C. LANGLOIS: (1789-1870), engraving by: A. DANDELEUX sculptor. First part of the 19th century.
Condition: freckles and traces of humidity, lower part.

THE BATTLE OF MOSKOWA:
Ney on horseback, sword in hand, leads the charge. After: C. LANGLOIS (1789-1870), engraving by: KÖNIG (1765-1832) sculptor. printed by BEL. First part of the 19th century.
Condition: freckles and a tear on the right side (stopped with a sticky paper on the back).

THE BATTLE OF WAGRAME:
The fall of Marshal Bessières from his horse. He was wounded by a cannonball which killed his horse under him. After: C LANGLOIS (1789-1870), engraving by: PIERRE MICHEL ADAM (1799 - 1852) sculptor. First part of the 19th century.
Condition: freckles and a trace of humidity lower part.
