"Oil On Canvas From The Eighteenth Century, Portrait Of A Man From The Louis XVI Period"
Portrait of a man from the Louis XVI period in oval format in its gilded frame. He represents Mr Nicolas Michel Cury, lawyer at the Parliament of Paris and adviser to the king for water and forests in France. Born January 5, 1753 and died April 15, 1826. A label on the back of the painting indicates this (see photo). We find this man with powdered hair, 3/4 wearing a black jacket enhanced with lace. Table in good condition, black canvas. Reinforcement bands added on the edges, some restorations, two old folds restored.
