Hunting Reliquary Carved Wood End Of The Nineteenth Century

Hunting reliquary in carved wood in the shape of a house. The ridge of the roof is surmounted by a brass ridge line pierced with "keyhole" patterns. Each end of the ridge is adorned with a ball antenna. One of the main faces has a decoration of two medallions representing an angel on the background of floral motifs in reserve. The other main side represents two other medallions with angels in the same ornament. The sides present, one a haloed human figure in reserve standing under a Gothic vault, the other side shows the figure of an angel also standing under the Gothic vault, the two figures surrounded by rosettes with four leaves. On the roof on one side, a standing angel surrounded by acanthus branches and on the other side two kneeling angels holding a round medallion with "keyholes" and surrounded by four leaves. Gothic style work, late 19th century.
