- 2021 year Napoleon - Interesting engraving depicting Prince Eugène de Beauharnais weeping at the grave of his mother, the Empress Joséphine. Entitled Family Piety, it is a seditious engraving from the Restoration period, celebrating the glory of the Empire. It is presented in its original frame. Beautiful historical memory, particularly in this year of the bicentenary of the death of the Emperor. In order not to separate the family, we also present engravings by Josephine and Napoleon Bonaparte. (see our other objects) Excellent condition, no wetness, wooden frame gilded with gold leaf restored by our gilder. Height: 57cm Width: 39cm
