Apostle in polychromed carved walnut. Our protagonist is represented in full length, dressed in a large coat with scalloped sleeves, punctuated with deep dynamic, broken and rolling pleats. His face is the one of a man in the prime of life, full of will. Long hair frames his face and falls over his shoulders. A well-trimmed beard ends the lower part of his face.Flanders, circa 1480/1500 (polychrome restoration, both hands missing, traces of xylophagous insects).
