Italian work in the style of Ferdinando POGLIANI's workshops. Blackened wooden sloping desk opening with a flap revealing a series of four drawers, a belt drawer, the upper part opening with two doors, broken pediment and two obelisks with dolphins surmounted by a spinning top. the fluted feet united by an inlaid top, ivory inlay decoration of arabesques, valances, putti, mufles and plaques decorated with historiated scenes in the many medallions. Some Lacks, lifting, accidents are to be noted, however they in no way detract from the quality and the beautiful presence of this piece of furniture.
