Beautiful, large and straight neoclassical Restauration / Biedermeier Extendable / extendable dining table in solid birch and chestnut, from Brittany, France circa 1820. Beautiful solid birch wood high-gloss, chestnut interior panel infill on the extension plate. The plate can be removed from under the main plate, by sliding over a felt, while the height remains the same. It extends the table by 96 cm and extends quickly and easily. The dining table additionally has a drawer on a front side. Below you can see the old, hand-made sliding mechanism made of solid oak wood. State restored. Surface treated with a fine mat wax polish.
