"Small Desk And Mail Organizer, 1900s / 1920s."
Probably Egyptian or Middle Eastern work carried out on a wood that we do not know, probably indigenous, of high density. Bone encrusted, ebony on the bottom which includes a front drawer. The front has the appearance of two lattice doors under which there is a mirror; a molding between them has mother-of-pearl inlays. In reality, they cover a single plane which falls down when the top rises. For this there are hinges and a small lock on one side. Inside there are compartments for documents.
