"Rebecca And Eliezer After Murillo End XVIIIth / Beginning XIXth Century"
Very pretty oil on canvas from the end of the 18th century or the beginning of the 19th century, representing Rebeca and Eliezer from the work of Bartolomé Esteban Murillo kept at the Prado museum. Beautifully crafted painting. A note: the canvas was previously re-lined, and detachments occurred between the two supports (blisters at sky level). The intervention of a restorer (estimated at 200/300 €) is required to remedy this disorder. There is no lack of paint, however, and the colors are very fresh. Some small old repaints. Canvas sold without frame. Dimensions: 52.5 X 43 cm
