Extraordinary Object, Hebrew, Souvenir Flask With Internal Chema Israël.

Remarkable object, a crystal bottle, blown as a ring, the circumference cut with double ribs, gilded silver mount, (no hallmark), small internal stopper, (blocked), hinged lid. These flasks are known to house a small spyglass, and I have had a few in my hands of remarkable ones. But here, the center is occupied by a coaster showing a photographic portrait of a late 19th century man, and on the other side, a box with a glass lid, containing a very fine prayer, Chema Israël folded in accordion.
