"Landscape, Salvator Rosa School"
In this 17th century Lazio landscape, representing a scene of daily life near a port, we can see in the foreground a soldier with a halberd, whose line follows the oblique line of the mountains in the background. In addition to the soldier, on a lower level, a group of fishermen intent on rest, and a shepherd with grazing animals can be seen. In the background mountains and buildings, framed by sky and trees. Dimensions: with frame 138 x 80 cm without frame 122 x 67 cm
