Gilt Bronze Candlesticks -hallmark Crowned C
Pair of medium size candlesticks (18 cm) in gilded bronze in two parts assembled by the base of the threaded shaft; the contoured base and ogee has two rows of twisted bowls; the shaft has two knots, one with thread and staples found also at the base of the binet and the other with rock clips.
These candlesticks bear the hallmark of the crowned C which attests to their time, 1745-1749.
