Biography: Van Den Daele Casimir (Vandendaele Casimir) was born in 1818 in Deinze, Belgium.
He was een painter of genre scenes and interiors.
He studied at Ghent Academy of Fine Arts. Lived and worked in Antwerp for many years and regularly exhibited at the Triennial Salon in Belgium. He became known for his artistically outstanding, opulent scenes from the Renaissance and the Baroque of impressive materiality, which he regularly exhibited with success.
Settled and was active in Bruges around 1852.
Van Den Daele died in 1880 in Ghent, Belgium.
Today his works can be found in private and public collections including Groeninge Museum in Bruges.
