Circa 1905/1910 England Beautiful day dress of the English bourgeoisie dating from the early 20th century. Mouse gray satin and chiffon printed with circular patterns. Apron effect and plastron embellished with a similar button embroidered at the knot point. Collar borders, waistband and piping in Art Nouveau polychrome floral print satin. Punctured at the wrists hinting at a bubbling cream tulle. High collar and modesty in cream spindle cotton lace. Bouillées sleeves reminiscent of the Mamelukes of the First Empire. Lining in transparent cream silk pongee in very good condition. Wrap-effect skirt with slit on the front. Closure elaborated by original press studs. Excellent condition of color and conservation.
