"Pair Of Italian Altarpieces Around 1500"
"God is really in this place" announces the friezes and their Latin expression VERE (Dominus est in loco) ISTO. Saint Paul and Saint Peter, with their respective attributes, are the guardians of these two wooden elements of an architecturally shaped altarpiece.

Around 1500, they come from an Italian chapel Surmounted by medallions confined with cornucopias, this little treasure measures 66 * 34 * 11. It has been appraised by the Fligny cabinet.
