"Tibet 17th, Bronze Figure Of Sakyamuni Buddha"
Representing the Sakyamuni Buddha taking the earth as witness, seated in Dhyanasana on a plinth with inverted double lotuses. He is represented here with a rather slender silhouette, the lotus petals are very fleshy and very well balanced. It has been made sacred and is therefore sealed under the base with the double Vajra as its symbol. Very beautiful deep patina, in brown / olive green tones in visual. Tibet 17th century Height: 14 cm
